On August 9th, enthusiastic participants swam 1/4 mile in the CVAC outdoor lake, biked 14 miles through the lovely rolling hills of the Chagrin Valley and ran 3.1 miles along club pathways and scenic neighboring terrain.

Were ready! CVAC Food and Beverage Director Mark Anderson and F&B Manager John Siman with last year's team winner Kelly Joyce.
Courtney, Laura, Sue, Nancy, Margaret and Kelly gear up to guard, race and cheer!
At 8:00 a.m. the first wave of swimmers enter the water.
On hand to insure the safety of the 200+ swimmers were the Geauga County Dive Rescue Team of Jim Woolf, Barnee Woolf and Chris McCabe.
The swimmers make the last turn.
CVAC professional lifeguard team celebrate a safe, no incident 1/4 mile swim event.
Racers dry off on the 14 mile bike route.
Police officers from the Geauga County Sheriffs Department aided bikers on the road.
Volunteer Kevin Slaten makes sure runners make the correct turns.
Officer Bruce Fedor of the Bainbridge Police Department makes sure all goes well in traffic areas.
Robert Dodd is the first to cross the finish line at 1:02.02 as his friends and family cheer him on!
Club owner Hollis Rosenberger points the way to the finish line as a runner completes the last leg of the race.
How good that finish line looks!
"We're glad we did it! Now where's the food?" After race refreshments were provided by Rini-Rego Stop' N' Shop and Little G's Pizzeria.
