Clay joined CVAC in March 2007 as dining room manager. He was promoted to Food & Beverage Manager in January 2008. Clay brings many years of experience to the Club’s hospitality department. Starting as a waiter at Walden Golf and Country Club, Clay worked his way up to Dining & Beverage Manager. “The great thing is I have had the opportunity to do it all… meeting with clients, wedding preparation, waiting on tables and bartending”. Clay excels in delivering memorable customer service.
Clay has spent most of his life in Aurora. He graduated from Aurora High School where he played baseball all four years. After that he pitched for Cleveland Baseball Academy and still spot pitches for an Akron AA wood bat league. Clay is close with his family, especially his twin brother “Whom I am two minutes older than!” he exclaims.
“I enjoy going to different restaurants in the area with my girlfriend. It is very interesting to see the many different styles and presentations”. Clay goes on to say “The food service business is fantastic. It is very gratifying to see the pleasure members and their guests derive from their dining or banquet experience at CVAC.”
